The Shellder has much more of a preservation instinct than Slowbro does. They rotate around on Slowbro’s tail to monitor the surroundings, and bite down when they want Slowbro to start running.

Slowking gain reputation among local Pokémon as oracles in the areas they settle in. When dispensing wisdom, sometimes the Shellder on their head can be seen rolling its eyes. What this means is uncertain.

Water that Galar Slowpoke dip their tail into takes on a spicy taste that people love. It’s popular in tea shops, but be warned: it only works fresh. Store-packaged Slowpoke teas use an entirely different recipe to “simulate the experience.”

Slowbro and Shellder rarely get along in Galar, biting and pinching even in battle. Their lack of teamwork makes Galarian Slowbro unreliable, but neither wants to give up the evolution’s benefits. Pokéologists call it mutual parasitism; counselors call it a toxic relationship.

Galarian occult shops have shelves full of various Slowking potions. Most are fake, but the real deal might be even more dangerous. Only Slowking knows what effects its potions will have, and attempts to analyze them only lead to gibberish.
