Ralts cannot filter emotional input from other creatures yet, and prefer to stay alone to avoid being overwhelmed by other Pokémon’s desire to battle. Despite this, they are the only member of their evolutionary line to approach Trainers in the wild.

Kirlia dancing competitions have been a tradition in Hoenn for centuries, and have set the bar for global standards. Trainers travel from all over the world to participate, bringing in styles and regional variants that don’t interact anywhere else.

A Kirlia evolves when it discards its own self preservation to protect something else. Gardevoir’s responsibility can grow attached to nearly anything: Gardevoir have been seen protecting their Trainers, their nests, and even a local Bob’s Your Uncle establishment.
