Ponyta loves eating starchy, oily plants. Ponyta in areas with abundant food are slower and more docile, but their flames burn much hotter to compensate.

The horn is strictly for driving away foes. Its appearance is too drab to attract mates, and its sharpness combined with Rapidash’s speed is too lethal to use in dominance fights among them.

Residents in Glimwood Tangle say that lost Trainers can always count on Ponyta to show them the way out of the forest. This is both a comfort and a warning, as Trainers with impure hearts often find themselves expeled violently by forces they cannot see.

Rapidash don’t herd in Galar. A lone Rapidash will settle where it finds a water source, protecting the pure water from “corruption”. Ponyta run freely from one Rapidash’s territory to another to mingle. It’s rumored that Rapidash will still meet one another where moonlight shines.
