Manaphy loves to follow other Pokémon as they swim through the sea, helping out however it can. Even Sharpedo and Gyarados are friendly when it is around them, although they go right back to raging when it leaves.

Phione are only seen in great numbers in the middle of the ocean, where they were born. Ocean currents carry them away all over the world, where they are seen as ambassadors of companionship.
