Kricketot are easy prey for the Starly line, with clumsy movements and little in the way of defenses. Kricketot try to keep Starly away by mimicking their calls, sounding like a rival flock. Starly tend to be fooled by this, but human ears can easily tell the difference.

Even after evolution, Kricketune don’t like to battle. Instead they spend their time composing new music to play for the wild Pokémon around them. Pokémon who enjoy this music protect Kricketune down to the last hit point.
