Wild Chikorita live in tightly-knit packs. They seek out partially-shaded habitats and position themselves in a special way — as the sun moves across the sky, it falls on the Chikorita whose turn it is to keep watch. These dozing packs look like fairy rings at a glance.

The fighting spirit spurred by their buds’ scent means newly evolved Bayleef have trouble relating to their former Chikorita pack. Lone Bayleef often find other rough-playing Pokémon as friends, forming odd symbiotic relationships.

Many have tried to use Meganium’s scent for perfume or medicine, but the fragrance quickly fades. Meganium are highly effective Safari Zone perimeter guards, soothing the protected Pokémon near the boundaries.
