Alolan children often keep a Bounsweet before graduating to more-involved Pokémon partners. Bounsweet only needs daily watering, so it’s a good introduction to pet ownership. If it does evolve into Steenee, parents end up doing most of the work again.

Bird Pokémon can’t stand Steenee, as it plucks their tail feathers and bounces on their head without a worry. Steenee doesn’t play so rowdy with other Pokémon, just the ones that hunted it down in a previous form.

Tsareena’s hard sepals cover its entire back to thwart surprise attacks. It viciously kicks whatever dares to attack Bounsweet or Steenee in its presence, but expects absolute loyalty in return.
